I have randomly come across little blurbs on quercitin & have now decided to actually try this supplement. Here is an article on it, to help gain an understanding of what it is & what it does. Basically, as I understand it, it's a natural antihistamine, so instead of taking a daily dose of Zyrtec, Benadryl or Claritin, you could take a daily dose of quercitin. From the various things I've read on it, when allergies get really bad (especially environmentals) you can increase your dose & find an increase in relief. I haven't personally taken it, but have started giving it to Ry. In Dr. Kenneth Bock's book "Healing the New Childhood Epidemics," he mentions it, as well (if you haven't read his book, I highly recommend it!). So it just another new adventure in this journey of ours, but if you have tried it with success of failure, I'd love to know!
