What we are currently doing for Ry's skin: (these are topical treatments)
Baths 2x per week
We just started using hibiclens, so I'll update on how that works out
We immediately follow baths with a coat of aquaphor
Bactroban on any cuts or cracks, to avoid staph infections
Either hydrocortisone 2.5% or triamcinolone nystatin on bad flare-ups, sometimes these help and sometimes they don't
This has been working for us for awhile now; we were doing baths everyday, but have found that cutting back has been very helpful for both keeping his skin moist and less staph infections. I've read that about 90% of those with eczema have an overgrowth of staph on their skin, I don't know how true this is and may have to look for research to support it, but I definitely agree that Ry has both an overgrowth of staph and yeast on his skin and addressing the yeast has been tremendous for us, I will post on that separately. I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do on here!
