I discovered something rather exciting recently- the Wordpress app. My blog is through wordpress, so with the app, I can take photos with my iPhone & upload them (after a little editing), straight to a new blog post. This is pretty exciting for two reasons- 1. I can now easily photograph my recipes & 2. my very rarely posted on blog just might get some more posts on it. I admit, the pictures aren't always the best, but I'm one of those that likes pictures with their recipes. It gives me a visual of what my meal will look like (in theory, of course) & makes me a bit excited to try it out, even if cooking isn't always my favorite thing. The other day, I came up with a really quick & tasty stir-fry recipe; piggy-backing off of that, I made a marinade for bbq chicken tonight. I didn't actually marinate my chicken, but you could easily stick it in there for an hour or more, for extra flavor. This sauce does have a little kick to it, so cut back on the chili peppers if you don't like things too spicey.
Asian BBQ Chicken Marinade
1/2- cup Braggs Liquid Aminos
1/2- teaspoon sesame oil
4- tablespoons honey
2- tablespoons mustard
1/4- teaspoon crushed red chili peppers (more if you want more spice!)
Whisk everything together & use as marinade or on top of chicken on the bbq. Enjoy!
